We have been working on the Bluebird Bus (da bird, our name for the Bus) for awhile now. It should be ready to roll tomorrow. We are not sure how long we will be gone. Just keep reading this Blog and you will know what and where we are, that is, if we don't have trouble with our Datastorm (internet). We plan on taking lots of Pictures and posting them with a short comment.

For those who don't know, the word ohana means family in Hawaiian.

While at the Park today, we saw this wonderful site for a picture...

Tomorrow we are going to hopefully put in our finishing touches and pushing off Thursday morning. Our first stop will be Yucca Valley to see Gordon, we haven't seen him in over 30 years and is 82 years old now, isn't that great.

John and Gails Home

This is my wonderful sister Gail and her hubby John. Their dogs are Tara and Pepi. Tara is gone now, but Pepi is still here to guard the house day and night. Gail and John let us keep our Container and Bus on their land. Aren't they great.

Brandon (my oldest grandson) turned 15 years old on th 16th of January. He plays Ice Hockey, and is getting real good at it too.

This is Mojave Narrows Park in Hesperia. It's a great park for RV's. They have some camels nearby, aren't they cute?
We would stay here, but we park in Ed's sister's place, she lives on a lot of land. This way we can visit and prepare Da Bird for our next trip. We hope to leave by Monday, toward Arizona. We will let you know.

Internet up and running

Our Motosat is working again, after a couple of weeks and a lot of hard work. This is a pix of when we had it installed in Montana, back in July 05. I sure miss Montana, what a wonderful place.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

We are in Hesperia, California at Gail and Johns home, Ed's sister. We are working on getting our container and our Bus in order. We plan to take a short trip to Quartzside, Arizona and come back through Las Vegas to see Janet, our good friend, then back to Hesperia. Then I pretty sure we will head to Mexico... How Long? We don't know.

Donovan drove down from the Bay area, and we have all been helping Dion move into his new home. We have so much to do before we start traveling. Christmas Shopping is one of the things we have been doing today. This is what traveling looks like!!!

Home again

We are home now, and are putting the house up for sale and plan to be full timers in our Blue Bird Bus for as long as we love it, which could be forever....

We had a wonderful time traveling almost 6,000 miles in 2 months. It suits us well.

The pix are Yellowstone. We were there over the weekend, it is a must see place.
We are now in Burns Oregon, this is Oregon's desert. It is still pretty nice. We are in Burns RV Park for the night, it has been 97 degrees today, so we needed to cool off for the night. We are off to Elkton Oregon tomorrow.
